Why Volunteer? I get asked quite often actually. Volunteering to me goes beyond "doing something nice." To me it's an opportunity to connect with others, like minded individuals, the community, and overall giving a hand to someone who needs a lift up. There are countless ways to volunteer and countless organizations that appreciate you contributing. It's remarkable to learn new skills, hear people's stories, just getting involved can have a remarkable impact on others and your own life.
